Dear Well-wisher, ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ
On November 26, we celebrate the 10th Foundation Day of the Aam Aadmi Party, which was founded in November 2012. What a journey it has been, for a young political party created by non-politicians and born out of a national movement that placed ordinary people and their problems in sharp focus.
No doubt, there were challenges along the way, as the party’s leaders made consistent efforts to win the hearts and minds of voters with an inspiring vision, a high degree of credibility, and the ability to champion honest politics.
That vision became reality, as we brought visible, tangible, sustainable change and development to everyone at scale in Delhi. And that resolve and those achievements only grew stronger when we won again, in Delhi, in 2020.
Now, we are determined to spread our wings across the country, replicating the party’s success and track record in Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa, Gujarat, and Karnataka, among other States. We aim to bring that same, simple model to everyone across the country; to be a credible national hope and meaningful alternative for all Indians seeking the basic minimum of a struggle-free daily life, of justice and fairplay across communities, and equal opportunities for all.
You have been an integral part of this journey, sustaining the party’s efforts with your passion and funding. Without you, and thousands of others like you, this journey would have remained a dream.
BBMP elections are expected to be held in February 2022. Across most wards, we are fielding honest candidates who have the potential to win and make a much needed difference to our city. We will keep you posted on the campaign’s progress.
